I have spent years and a vast amount of money scouring the shelves of supermarkets and online outlets to find the perfect hair care products to suit my personal needs.
My hair has been a challenge for as long as I can remember, and I used to dream of having thick glossy locks.
Every so often I would think I had found that dream product, only to be disappointed when a few weeks later when it stopped working for me. I have since learned that this was as a result of harmful chemicals stripping the natural oils from my hair.
Everyday life can have an effect on the condition of our hair, whether that be stress, the weather or our centrally heated homes and offices.
On a personal level these conditions can dry out my hair and leave it looking a bit limp and sad!
To combat this, once a week I give my hair a treat by applying a luxurious hair mask, bursting with exotic butters and oils, to strengthen, moisturise, soothe and protect my delicate locks.
I use the Neroli Luxury Hair Butter by Surya Luna Naturals which is bursting with the gorgeous aroma of neroli essential oil and cannot recommend it highly enough.
For those who prefer, there is also a Sandalwood variety infused with sandalwood amyris and rose geranium essential oils.
Both products work equally well to put the zing back into dry, lifeless hair. It’s so easy to use too.
You simply scoop a little butter out with your fingers and let it melt in the palm of your hand before massaging into the lengths of your hair.
I usually leave the mask on for 10/15 minutes, enjoying the delicious aroma of the neroli essential oil while the butter works its magic.
Quite by accident I also noticed that after you’ve applied the mask to your hair the left over butter makes an excellent skin conditioner for dry hands. A winner on all levels.
Then I wash my hair as usual using my favourite Liquorice Root Shampoo Bar. The end result is beautiful soft, shiny hair and a sense of peace from the wonderful aromas my senses have been exposed to.
I will continue to use Surya Luna products because I know they are completely natural, environmentally friendly, they save me time and money and above all they really do work!
Oh, and the ingredients and aromas are amazing!
