Our Fine Fragrance Balms are inspired by Scotland - its landscapes, legends, traditions and language.
 
Our original recipe, vegan friendly balms have been three years in development as we wanted to get them just right!
 
They are offered as unisex fragrances, for you to choose from your favourite scents.
 
The perfect size to keep in a desk drawer or in your bag for when you are on the go!
 
What is a fragrance balm?
Fragrance balms are an alcohol free alternative to traditional perfumes or aftershaves.
 
They are concentrated little tins of highly fragranced balm, made with high quality fine fragrance oils that have been sourced right here in Scotland and are paraben and phthalates free.
 
Our balms are both water and alcohol free, and use skin friendly coconut wax which allows the full nature of the fragrance to come through, while being gentle and nourishing on the skin.
 
Directions for use:
Simply slide open the tin and gently rub the balm with your fingers to activate the scent.  Apply to pulse points for a long lasting fragrance.  Top up as needed.

Celtic Dream - peony and oud (floral notes)
If you like your skincare products to match, I also offer a Celtic Dream Luxury Liquid Hand Wash and Hand Lotion.  This beautiful deeply floral scent reminds me of warm summer days, walking through wildflower meadows on the west coast of Scotland, breathing in the fragrant air and revelling in the peace and tranqulity of the Scottish Highlands.
 
Aurora - jasmine and lotus blossom (floral notes)
I have been lucky enough to see the aurora borealis or northern lights on a couple of occasions.  These shimmering lights in the night sky with their changing, wavering colours are a breath-taking sight.  This gorgeous floral scented balm, with its developing notes of orchid, rose and amber woods, is redolent of the subtly shifting colours of the aurora
 
Bothy Nights - Himalayan cedar and jasmine (woody and floral notes)
If you like your skin care products to match, you can also buy matching bar soap and luxury liquid hand wash in this gorgeous, best-selling scent.  Inspired by the mountain bothies of Scotland where you can find shelter, meet fellow travellers, share stories and the occasional dram!
 
Highlander - bergamot and labdanum (fresh and woody notes)
If you love our Labdanum Twilight reed diffusers and car diffusers then this is the fragrance for you with similar clean fresh notes of bergamot and citrus underscored by a rich woody base.  
 
Skye Blue - fresh citrus and vetiver (fresh and woody notes)
While similar in scent notes to my Skye Blue soap, this fragrance balm is subtly different with more woody base notes.  Skye Blue was inspired by the beautiful skies and coastal waters of the Hebridean Isles. I have spent many holidays exploring the stunning beaches with their turquoise blue waters and golden sands and relaxed by the shore listening to the lapping of the waves, while sitting under vast blue skies and watching distant clouds over the Atlantic.
 
Callanish - sparkling citrus and amber (fresh and woody notes)  
If you love our Amber Woods reed diffuser and car diffuser, then this is the fragrance for you! A fresh clean scent, uplifting and refreshing, backed with subtly woody base notes. I have visited the Callanish stones on Lewis on a number of occasions and if you can go early in the morning or after the last tourists of the day have left in the evening, and stand quietly among these mysterious giants, you can almost sense the stories they have to tell about all they have seen over the thousands of years that they have stood sentinel on the hillside
 
Machair - violet and mallow (floral notes)  
This scent matches with our popular Machair soap.  Inspired by the heavenly scent of the wildflowers in the machair on the beautiful island of Tiree in the Inner Hebrides.
 
Caledonia - black amber and cedar (rich, deep woody notes)
This fragrance reminds me of walking through some of Scotland's lush green forests with their rich green and woody aromas, just as autumn approaches and the days are cooling.
 
Coorie - orange blossom and white musk (sweet citrus notes)
'Coorie' is a Scots word that means to nestle or snuggle and it is the perfect name for this fragrance that seems to envelope you in its embrace of warm citrus notes.
 
Highland Gorse - coconut and tonka (coconut and vanilla notes)
The sight of the buttery yellow flowers on the gorse bushes is a sure sign that Spring has arrived in Scotland and the coconutty scent hints at warm summer days to come (hopefully!).
